Papa

We knew that this would more than likely be Papa's last birthday celebrated here. So, my Nana asked if I would come and really capture some awesome pictures from the day. I tried my best, and it was incredibly bittersweet--from the little looks on his face (of excitement, even), being wrapped up in his linus blanket, to he and Josh sharing a final birthday candle blowout--it was phenomenal to be a part of.

We miss you, Pop. Hope the golf game in heaven is fair to middling.

Baby Colton

What a cutie pie! He did SUCH a great job with his pictures--he was a VERY cooperative baby! :)

Baby Baker 2011

This was wonderful--not only is Lauren beautiful, but she's my BFF, so of course this was going to be hysterically fun! :)

Valentines Day Mini-shoots

I loved doing Valentines Mini-shoots! :) They turned out REALLY well, and I was very successful with them! :)

Logan: Month three

Christmas cutie pieeeee!

Christmas cutie pieeeee!

Apologies...

There's a HUGE gap here, only because I don't think I "saved" the watermarked photos from Christmas, because I had so many. BUT, you can go to my facebook page to see the albums! :) Thanks for understanding! :)

Breakfasting with Santa

This is kind of hilarious. As I was getting ready for this day (where I had been hired to take more candid shots of people, breakfasting with santa), I had a panic attack---what if there was someone hired by the event taking pictures as well? I know that can cause problems...so in the car (on the way to the event), Sandy came up with the story that I was no longer just "Laura"...that I was "AUNT Laura", and that I just happened to be a photographer, too! :) It was hysterical. Bailee kept calling me Aunt Laura the whole day. But we got some great images--and the event was awesome! :)
