Breakfasting with Santa

This is kind of hilarious. As I was getting ready for this day (where I had been hired to take more candid shots of people, breakfasting with santa), I had a panic attack---what if there was someone hired by the event taking pictures as well? I know that can cause problems...so in the car (on the way to the event), Sandy came up with the story that I was no longer just "Laura"...that I was "AUNT Laura", and that I just happened to be a photographer, too! :) It was hysterical. Bailee kept calling me Aunt Laura the whole day. But we got some great images--and the event was awesome! :)

Patty won a gift certificate for a one hour shoot from a benefit she attended back in October. I was excited to meet her (and her adorable husband-to-be, and two beautiful daughters). We trampled through the snow (and braved VERY high winds), but we got some awesome images! :)
